Description

Vaginal rejuvenation refers to methods for improving (rejuvenating) and strengthening the vaginal walls.

  • A decrease in the elasticity of the vaginal wall is a consequence of pregnancy, childbirth or aging (menopause)
  • It is presented by insufficient vaginal moisture, burning and itching in the genital area, repeated inflammation, bleeding and pain during sexual intercourse, as well as leakage of urine (stress incontinence)

There are several methods for vaginal rejuvenation:

  • Laser therapy
  • Radiofrequency therapy (RF)
  • Injection fillers with hyaluronic acid
Vaginal Rejuvenation

Facts

  • Local anesthesia
  • Outpatient procedure
  • Procedure lasts 30 minutes
  • Recovery in 1 day

Laser acts on the vaginal wall by remodeling and new formation of collagen fibers, new formation of blood vessels, resulting in overall rejuvenation.

After treatment, the tissue of the vagina and pelvic floor has increased moisture and elasticity.

  • The procedure takes up to 30 minutes and the effect occurs within one month
  • It is recommended to undergo 2 - 3 treatments with an interval of 4 weeks
  • The method is effective for one year

In radiofrequency treatment, special devices generate radiofrequency waves that create controlled heating of the tissue (around 40-45 °C).

Heat stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, improves blood circulation and promotes mucosal regeneration.

The procedure takes about 30 minutes and 3-5 sessions are recommended.

The effect lasts 6-12 months.

Hyaluronic acid is used as a filler (e.g. for lip augmentation) - its advantage is that it binds water to itself and thus improves mucosal hydration, improving tissue elasticity.

Hyaluronic acid is applied in the form of injections (first, the injection area is numbed with local anesthesia).

The procedure takes 20-40 minutes and the effect lasts 6-12 months.

The injections can also increase the volume of the G-spot, which increases sensitivity during sexual intercourse.

Before the procedure itself, a gynecological examination, a negative cytology of the cervix, and a bacteriological examination are also required.

The procedure is not performed during the period.

The recovery after the treatment lasts 24 hours, sexual abstinence for one week.

Laser treatment is painless, but there may be slight itching or a slight discharge (watery to pale pink) - these symptoms disappear on their own within a week.
